True wealth is the hidayah and happiness of the spirit

Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Wealth is not in having many possessions. Rather, true wealth is the richness of the soul.” (Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6081, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1051)

Real Wealth

Narrated Thawban: "When (the following) was revealed: And those who hoard up gold and silver... (9:34)" He said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) during one of his journeys, so some of his Companions said: (This) has been revealed about gold and silver, if we knew which wealth was better then we would use it. So he (ﷺ) said: 'The most virtuous of it is a remembering tongue, a grateful heart, and a believing wife that helps him with his faith.'" (Jami` at-Tirmidhi : Vol. 5, Book 44, Hadith 3094)

it was narrated from Anas that : the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah does not bestow a blessing upon any slave and he says: 'Al-hamdu Lillah (praise is to Allah),' except that what he gives (the praise) is better than what he received (the blessing) [Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 5, Book of Etiquette, Hadith 3805]

Dindar log zindagi ko zarorat ke hisaab se jeeta hai thodi si kamai mein bhi khush hal zindagi basar karta hai. aur dunya dar log zindagi ko apni kabhi khatam nahi hone wali khauhishat ke hisaab se jeeta hai jisse uski zindagi tang aur bechain rehti hai.

Say: "It is the grace and mercy of Allah (that He has sent this Qur’an), so let the people rejoice over it, for it is better than (the worldly riches) they are collecting." (Qur’an : 10 : 58)

Mu’awiya reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If Allah intends goodness for someone, he gives him understanding of the religion.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 71, Sahih Muslim 1037)

Our lives have become so stressful that we had almost forgotten about our true self. Clearly, in search of materialistic things, we are damaging the internal peace of our mind.

467. Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said,

Wealth and Poverty are both a Test from Allah

Such is man! When his Lord puts him through a Test by granting him honor and a life of ease, he says, "My Lord has honored me!" ( 89 : 15)

And when He Tests him by restricting his means of livelihood, he says, "My Lord has disgraced me!" ( 89 : 16)

Allâh enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and straitens it for whom (He wills)…. (Quran 29 : 62)

Allâh increases the provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills), and they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter is but a brief passing enjoyment ( 13 : 26)
